Preston and Jennifer had the most picture perfect fall wedding day. They chose Letchworth State Park in October for their destination wedding. Preston and Jennifer had an intimate ceremony over looking the Genesee River, surrounded by close friends and family.
As I’m taking pictures of the ceremony, I’m always in awe of the love and passion that couples share during this big moment. I was absolutely blown away by how much emotion and caring went into their vows. It was completely silent and all you could hear was the depth of their words and we all felt it in our hearts. It was very special and in that moment I felt appreciative to be part of Preston and Jennifer’s big day.
Part of Preston and Jennifers special relationship is their love for all things outdoor and nature. They both enjoy fishing and really wanted to make it part of their special day. After the intimate ceremony we snuck away to the Trout Pond. It was the perfect fall afternoon. The sun was out, the air was cool and the pond was calm. I had to capture these two doing a few of their favorite activities together, they were so fun and I loved every minute of it.
When a couple is up for adventuring around an outdoor area to find some perfect spots, that’s my favorite! We had such an amazing background being Fall in Letchworth State Park in New York. Jennifer was thoughtful with her special day scheduled out just right. Giving Preston and Jennifer some extra time alone after the ceremony to get these special shots of just the two of them. I really loved this time during the day. Next up was heading to the North Shelter for a small gathering to celebrate Preston and Jennifer.
The day was slowly turning to the evening and the sun was starting to set. The crisp fall air was settling in and the shelter was nice and cozy with a fire going. It was absolutely perfect with all the wonderful things that fall has to offer. Dinner was served buffet style from the wonderful Decisions Catering out of Silver Springs, New York. The food from Decisions Catering is always delicious. Everyone enjoyed dinner, followed by music and the cake cutting. The cupcakes and cake were beautiful and delicious from Eileen’s Bakery in West Seneca, New York.
Golden hour was upon us and in true photographer fashion I had to sneak these two away one more time to grab the last pictures of the day. Preston and Jennifer chose their Best Friend and Sister to be in their wedding party, it was perfect, these two were amazing all day supporting Preston and Jennifer. I loved Jennifer’s bouquet and flowers decorated around the shelter from The Country Florist in West Seneca, New York. They were the perfect pop of Fall colors.
Preston and Jennifer, Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I loved being around your positive energy all day. Sometimes I give the advice to try to slow down and enjoy the little moments in your special day because it flies by. I didn’t have to share that advice with you two. I’ve never seen two people so in love, and nothing was going to distract you from celebrating your love on your wedding day. You two are so full of passion and happiness that it was beaming, everyone felt blessed to be around you, especially me!
